Plaited - as in, woven together so the Merino’s next to your skin and the nylon’s on the outside. Gives you the comfortable, odor-managing properties of Merino, and the durability and abrasion resistance of nylon. That’s what we used to construct this go-to, midlayer – just the thing, we thought, for the active commuter or aerobic workout. It has a zip front closure with draft flap, an adjustable, ample hood with drawstring cinch, thumbholes, a hidden zip chest pocket with media port, and two zipless hand pockets. Front and back reflectivity. Imported. 265GM nylon/Merino wool/elastane fabric. S to XXL. Regular fit.

51% nylon/45% 18.9 micron Merino wool/4% elastane stretch knit jersey fabric.
Merino ‘works.’ The Merino absorbs moisture vapor from your skin - up to 30% of its weight before it even begins to feel wet. Pulling moisture off your skin gives you a cooling sensation when it’s warm and a warming sensation when it’s cold (we are not making this up). And that same moisture-absorbing property also fights odor because the bacteria that cause it don’t do so well without moisture.
Merino comes from sheep, so when it’s woven into fabric it may contain slight natural variations in texture.
